There are different sources for different vitamins actually, there is no one source which fulfill the requirement. such as--
vitamin A Egg, fish, green leaf vegetable, milk etc
vitamin B Brewer's yeast(used in making bread)
vitamim C orange, lemon
vitamin D sunlight
etc.

I think there is no specific criteria. There are plenty of foods that contain vitamin supplements more or less. So it is better to look for natural foods rather than junk one.

This is good question, knowing best sources of vitamin helps lot. There are lots of food sources for vitamins. Natural sources of vitamins also good. In food sources green vegetables, milk are best option.

I bought a multi-vitamin tablet to take while we TTC but I read on the packet that it was not safe to take if you are pregnant or plan to be pregnant in the near future??? Is taking folic acid enough and if so is it 200µg or 400 µg I'm supposed to take?

Vitamin A :
milk, butter, cheese and eggs,fish oils, mackerel, trout, herring.
Vitamin C :
Strawberries,Kiwi fruit ,Steamed broccoli,Orange,Mango and passion fruit smoothie,Frozen peas.
Vitamin E :
avocados, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, spinach, watercress, Brussels sprouts, blackberries, mangoes, corn oil, olive oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil.

I always prefer green vegetables as source of vitamins,that is because it is the most natural source and valued mainly for their high vitamin and mineral contents.Well Vitamins A, Band C are contained in vegetables in fair amounts.

In the Everything There is Some Vitamin in Side them Like Egg Contain Vitamin A.Milk is a Full Food Which Contain All Kind of Vitamin only Vitamin 'C' is not There in the Milk.There is So many Vitamin 'C' in the Fruit.
